"Homophobia: The fear that another man will treat you like you treat women." ~ (unattributed)

Questions for me:
1) What is your greatest fear?
This is something I’ve never really thought too much about, to be honest. Maybe that’s a little strange. I guess I could say losing my sources of encouragement when it comes to my art and writing; my parents have never really been to supportive, and it’s always made me feel like crap. But when I find support from outside sources, and when people genuinely love my material, that's what keeps me going. If I were to lose that, I'm not sure what I'd do with myself.
2) Do you have any weird talents (making a clover with your tongue, etc.)?
None that come to mind at the moment, haha.
3) What’s one thing you want people to remember you for?
People always seem surprised at how chill a person I actually turn out to be when they take the time to get to know me. I’m content with the notion of being remembered as that laid-back, dry-humored, yet pleasant girl. /shrug
And if I ever finish writing my books, that’d be nice, too XD It always makes me giddy when people take a liking to my characters.
4) If your life was to become a movie, who would you want to direct?
I wish I began to know how to answer this, haha. Probably some low-key indie director, with a creative enough vision to put an interesting spin on my mundane life.
5) What are your top three favorite movies, in no particular order?
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Mr. Nobody.
6) If you could tell your best friend anything in the world for one day, without repercussions, what would you tell them?
I already share all my thoughts and secrets openly with my best friend, so there’s not much he doesn’t already know.
7) If you could choose how you died, what would you prefer?
Peacefully, and in my sleep.
Boring, I know XD
8) What is your favorite food?
Just about anything with pasta and/or cheese xP
9) What are your top 3 favorite books, in no particular order?
I’m more of a writer than I am a reader, but I do have a select few books I thoroughly enjoyed. The Fault in Our Stars was amazing, and Warm Bodies more recently. And it might just be a fanfic to some, but it was certainly a novel in proportions; I Know What’s Beneath the Snow Fields will always stick with me as one of my favorite Final Fantasy VII stories. Ever.
10) Were you named after anyone?
Two of my uncles, actually. I had an Uncle Richard, and an Uncle Ray. My mom was actually going to give me the very unfortunate name of Richette. I really, really wish that was a joke. Thankfully she settled for Rachel instead. Thanks, mom. :/
1.) Coffee or Tea?
2.) If you could plan your dream vacation, where would you go? Any particular reason?
3.) One of your guilty pleasures?
4.) Any ‘indie’ flicks you’re rather fond of?
5.) Are you a cat or dog person? Or either/neither?
6.) Three of your favorite bands/musicians?
7.) Any nervous habits?
8.) A favorite actor/actress?
9.) Favorite type of weather?
10.) Do you sing/dance when no one else is home?
11. ) A song that’s stuck in your head, or was recently?
I’ll send messages to my taggees later XD I have to go get ready for work, sadly.

For anyone who wishes to recap my little ‘story’ from today, you can click here to read it from the beginning :) This takes place 5-6 months before they become a couple in the college AU.
A cute little short story I wrote over on my Sims blog. Thought I’d reblog because I’m actually pretty pleased with how it turned out.
This my friends, is a masterpiece of a movie. Three homeless people, A runaway teen, a alcoholic father, and an ageing trans woman, are wandering the streets on Christmas eve, when they find a baby abandoned in a dump. They decide to care for it, while they wander around trying to find her mother, meeting several oddballs on their way.
Directed my the great Satoshi Kon, this movie is a must watch for anybody! It’s hilarious, touching, and will have you at the edge of your seat by the end of the crazy journey!
…Aaaaannd, now it’s on Netflix! If you don’t have it, you can also watch it here: http://www.goodanime.net/tokyo-godfathers-movie
Go watch it!
We should have like, a Shave it All September for all the guys who complain about women participating in No Shave November
for an entire month they could shave their facial, leg, armpit, and arm hair and keep up with it every day for the month and see how fun it is?
and since No Shave November is about raising awareness for men’s health, this could be to raise awareness for a similar cause, too?
I second the motion. An excellent idea, friend.
